This week our membership mourns the tragic loss of a friend and colleague,    Shelly Adair. 

Shelly, a nutrition manager and member of the CSNM since 1984 was tragically struck by a vehicle while doing what she dedicated her career to, provide nutritional care to vulnerable patients at her place of employment Waypoint Centre for Mental Health. On this day in particular Shelly was at work to celebrate her team as this day happened to be a staff appreciate celebration. 

With an over 40-year impressive career in healthcare food service, Shelly has touched so many along the way. With her kindness and mentorship. Although I never worked with Shelly directly with Shelly, my wife, some of my closest colleagues in industry and even students have. All those who were blessed to work with this kind and caring person have had nothing but positive memories of the time she crossed their paths.
