Hello CSNM family,

This month, we’re trying something a little bit different. Instead of one long newsletter, we’re experimenting with shorter, more frequent updates just to make it easier for you to get the information you need without having to scroll through a really long email.

For example, this is just the President’s message short and to the point. Over the coming weeks, you may receive additional updates focused on things like lobbying and advocacy, or updates for Certified Nutrition Managers, upcoming webinars and more.

We’d really love your feedback on this. Let us know if you prefer these shorter updates, or if you’d rather go back to the traditional newsletter format. We’re always open to trying new things.

Now, in terms of what’s happening this month:

May is here, the weather is getting warmer, and that means our annual conference is right around the corner. If you haven’t registered yet, now is the time.

This year’s conference, Harvesting Change, is taking place in Winnipeg from June 10 to 12. We have an incredible lineup of speakers, and there’s a lot of valuable education to be gained.

If you haven’t been to Winnipeg before, it’s also a great opportunity to visit a new part of the country.

You may have also seen our recent email about awards and honours. We really encourage you to nominate someone in your circle who is doing great work. It’s important that we recognise people in our industry and support one another.

Nominations are due May 12, so be sure to get those in soon.

That’s it for this month, short and sweet!

Again, please let us know what you think about this new format, and we’ll see you next month.
